InvestEngine honest review

InvestEngine is a great investment platform with zero account fees for DIY portfolios. There is a range of support available if you are starting out in your investment journey, but I would recommend it more to experienced investors due to the nature of the platform. The only downside is that it is an ETF-only platform, therefore you are not able to own single stocks or bonds. However, it does encourage the correct investment behaviour of diversification, regular investing and staying invested for the long term. I recently moved money to Invest Engine due to the extremely low fees on offer. The platform is clear and easy to use. They offer a range of videos to help you along the way. Seems ok.

Seems ok. I've found a few funds missing (e.g. Physical Gold) and there is no way to balance a portfolio without selling funds when adding new funds. Reviewed on: 12th February 2026
