InvestEngine - simple, varied, investment platform of choice

InvestEngine's interface is simple to navigate and use. It is clear in its fees without coming across as misleading, with its limited choices (self-managed or robot-managed) ISAs being very simple to choose and navigate. Withdrawing and depositing money is straight-forward and simple to use, and the customer service is fantastic with a quick response although it would benefit with an actual number for certain customers wishing to speak on a phone. The interface could also use with some upgrades, particularly with the option to make changes to investment weightings while orders are pending, but for the price and offering, it is certainly market-leading and a disruptor in this field. Just what the UK Investment Community Needed

ETFs are great building blocks for a well diversified portfolio - until now nobody offered a reasonable selection at a reasonable price built for regular investing. InvestEngine has done this with a super clean user interface and a focus on long term portfolios with options for the DIY investor and beginners through managed portfolios. Straightforward and easy to use

I've only just started on my investment journey following the new ISA tax year, but so far the experience is good. It was so easy to setup and both the web based and mobile app interfaces are clean, easy to understand and the DIY option is very user friendly for first time users. If you are new to investing, then just go for it. Work with small amounts at first and get the 'feel' for it. The setup is very easy to get your head round. Reviewed on: 14th April 2023
