The best alternative in the UK

Even though it offers only ETFs, it does that very well. It allows for fractional shares, automated reinvestment and direct debits. Has all the important ETFs and allows for multiple portfolios, making easier to track progress. Also affers free ISA, which is a rare. Reviewed on: 15th January 2022

Having used various Investment platforms I can say that InvestEngine is very good value for money. The fees are very reasonable for a managed fund and free for DIY fund. Which makes it stand out. Great platform with low fees

Great platform with a wide range of well-selected ETFs, in continuous expansion. Very useful tools such automatic portfolio rebalancing, autoinvest, detailed transaction reports, and various analytic tools (share, regional, and sector breakdown). Extremely low fees (0% on DIY portfolio and 0.25% on managed ones). Very responsive and helpful customer service. Highly recommended. Reviewed on: 14th January 2022

I've been using their DIY portfolio to invest commission-free in UK based ETFs. You set the % weight for each of your investments, with a few clicks you can set up a portfolio which is well diversified across different asset, sectors and geographies.
