Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Can only praise the staff for their exemplary service. Myself and my friend were treated with courtesy and dignity. Insurance refused

My insurance quote was rejected because of my health which is being maintained by chemotherapy, although I have cancer it is completely under control and I have excellent quality of life . I do not feel as though I got the “human touch” as I wasn’t given the chance to explain my condition. Reviewed on: 7th October 2022

Great price and great cover

I’ve used just travel for medical insurance for a number of years they offer great cover at a great price I recommend this company to all my friends and family who need insurance with medical cover, my brother in law recently had a stroke and was quoted over £250 for medical holiday insurance I told him about just travel he was quoted only £77 with better cover really if you need medical cover this is the company to use Reviewed on: 7th October 2022
