Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Fantastic

Saved my holiday

Just Travel Cover stepped in when my previous insurer cancelled my cover due to an emergency hospital admission prior to travelling. I wouldn’t have been able to take the once in a lifetime trip without the cover they offered. They were amazing. Reviewed on: 7th October 2022

Excellent customer service and products

Just Travel are an exceptional company, not only do they cover most medical conditions but they have no upper age limit. Companies who cover older travellers are hard to find. We have always had outstanding customer service. All the advisors are very polite and extremely helpful. I have previously and continue to recommend Just Travel to family and friends.
