Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Great response to specific needs

I had tried several other insurance companies but this is the only one who responded positively to my specific health issues and took great care to ask the right questions in a courteous and caring way. Such a relief. Reviewed on: 10th August 2022

My holiday insurance cover

Brilliant, not a big techie but phoned up. Got through after a while, the lady who to all my details was very good. She explained the insurance package throughly. She was great to explain the different parts of the cover I requested. I recommend just travel my neighbour ,he got cover straight away. So all in all very satisfied. Reviewed on: 8th August 2022

Perfect for those of us with medical reasons, who are not Covid Vaccinared.

Great to be able to support the travel industry again and to also be sble to travel again to be with family working abroad. Due to reactions to the Covid vaccinations, and not being hospitalised after both Covids, we wished to carry on with our lives. This Just Travel Insurance allows us to do. Thanks guys. Good cover at reasonable cost

I reviewed several companies to get a quote for my worldwide travel. Due to my age and medical history quotes varied from reasonable to high. Just Travel quoted a competitive price while providing the essential cover of the higher quotes. I would recommend Just Travel especially to those older travellers with some medical history.
