Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Competitive value for money

When on line and after a long session looking for travel insurance for Seniors I could not find better cover relative to cost. Reviewed on: 20th July 2022

Not even worth one star

We insured with Just Travel and had our insurance claim rejected by AIG because a bird strike meant we cancelled our week holiday because we could not get a flight until day 5 of the holiday , meaning that they think we should have gone for two days holiday. Reviewed on: 20th July 2022

Excellent company

~We used Just Travel Cover for a holiday to Thailand in January 2022. Unfortunately my husband was bitten by something and had to spend 7 days in hospital in Bangkok. Just Travel were excellent in handling our claim. Would definitely recommend this compoany Reviewed on: 20th July 2022

Excellent customer service

My fault, I made a mistake filling in my details for my travel insurance and didn't notice until I had purchased it. Phoned customer services and they sorted it straightaway, not extra charge and no problem. Lovely people to deal with.
