Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Good value

competitive rates

I found competitive rates, but obviously I think you only find out how good the insurance company is, if you are unlucky enough to need it. Thankfully I did not need to find out. Reviewed on: 20th July 2022

Insured despite multiple medical Issues

I was recommended to this company by a friend and I now fully understand now. I was helped every step of the way and had my first holiday in 4 years without worrying about issues from my major heart surgery and other issues. Excellent value, no-fuss travel insurance.

I arranged the policy on-line but had excellent customer support about a previous medical condition via chat. I then needed to add a further medical condition to my policy and again, the customer service was quick and efficient and my policy was amended over the phone at no extra cost. Bonus.
