Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Specialist jet ski insurance

Currently on holiday in Florida and wanted specific cover when we went jet skiing , just travel were able to provide in a customer friendly manner . I wouldn’t hesitate in using them again . Reviewed on: 13th September 2018

Helpful, responsive and knowledgeable.

What appeared to be an intimidating declaration on pre-existing health conditions was navigated easily with the help of a justtravelcover operator. Getting a quote was straightforward as was accepting it. Whole experience was positive and reassuring. Reviewed on: 13th September 2018

Easy to contact and quick to answer/respond. Agents are polite,friendly and helpful. Personal questions are asked in an understanding and discrete way. Prices are quoted quickly and are always reasonable. Documents are accurately prepared and are made available quickly. I have used Just Travel on several trips and found their services faultless. A listening Broker.

This is my third year insuring my yearly Travel Insurance, although have yet to test their claims operation , their customer service is very good when it comes to quotes for over 70's with medical issues. Reviewed on: 12th September 2018
