Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Helpful, friendly explained everything in simple terms

My enquiry was over the phone, the young lady told me her name but unfortunately I can’t remember it, but she explained everything to me in a polite way and she was. Very patient with me as I sometimes have a senior moment but we got there in the end. I am please with the policy and the price it seems to cover all my needs hopefully I won’t need to use it but I have every confidence in them if I have to,I would certainly us them again this is my third year with them Reviewed on: 12th September 2018

Exceptional value!

The premium I have paid was excellent value for our cruise. The young lady I spoke to was profesdiobal and friendly. I have not travelled yet, but if there was to be any claims made I feel hopeful at this juncture it would be dealt with in the same professional manner. Reviewed on: 12th September 2018

Good for those with medical issues

I have always found their prices extremely good, despite having to declare medical issues. Much cheaper than inclusive insurance and often better cover too. I have only had to claim once and the process was really easy and quick. Reviewed on: 6th September 2018
