Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Quick and easy

Did this for my mother who has a few health issues, questions are easy and thorough quote was reasonable and you don't have to phone if you don't want to. Reviewed on: 27th September 2017

Best options at the best prices

This is the best, and cheapest, company for travel insurance for those with moderate or severe health issues. Without their reasonable premiums, I could not afford to go on holiday with the medical conditions I have. Comparison sites have shown similar medical conditions attracting twice or even 3 times as much as Just Travel. Reviewed on: 27th September 2017

I first chose this insurance 2 years ago. My partner had cancer, now in remission, so I visited the Martin Shaw website for recommended insurers, with reasonable price policies. Hence, I have used Just Travel for at least 6 times. They were easy to contact by phone, friendly, helpful staff, paperwork emailed promptly and easy to understand. For good down to earth prices for travel insurance.

Despite having several medical problems that I needed to declare, I was still able to get an annual travel insurance at reasonable cost. I will certainly be using Just Travel next year.. Reviewed on: 27th September 2017

Reasonably priced and very flexible

We needed insurance to travel to Japan last year - but had to amend it a day before travelling as a result of a last minute medical problem. A quick phone call to check our cover and a small extra charge and we were on our way and reassured. Reviewed on: 27th September 2017

Our fave travel cover specialist

Having used Just Travel for the past couple of years we found the policy to cover our requirements . Luckily for us (and for them I suppose), we haven't needed to make a claim.
