Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Brilliant service

I’ve used Just Travel for the last few years and have always had brilliant service from them. When our health declaration changed, Just Travel sorted my existing cover out easily and without minimal fuss. I’m about to renew my cover and know I will get great service! Reviewed on: 3rd October 2023

Best and fair travel company

My husband has quite a few health problems and it is hard to find a travel insurance company to cover him without extortionate prices but we found Just Travel at a reasonable price and they were so helpful i would recommend freinds and family without hesitation. Used Just Travel Before.

Professional, friendly service from people who appear to care

Excellent professional and friendly response on the 'phone resulting in a quotation that was also at a similar cost to ones obtained through comparison sites. The real plus point is that they provide a service level that reflects a personal interest and concern for their customers as evidenced in the response I received at 18.05 in the evening to an e.mail sent after 17.00 the same day. I had omitted a country in the list I required covered. They added the country at no additional cost in premium or in 'admin fees' and reissued the amended policy in less than an hour.
