Review of the Just Travel Cover, Travel insurance:

Good Quote, but rubbish customer service

I took out medical cover travel insurance for my husband for a cruise we were going on in December 2016. To keep the cost down I went for a policy with a £75 excess. My thinking for this was I would be more than happy to pay £75 if per chance he took unwell whilst on board ship. Part of the deal we had with the cruise company we had one night in a hotel in Barcelona. Hotel was based in La Ramblas and it was a good hotel. Never for one minute did I think my husband would have his backpack stolen whilst sitting in the Hotel restaurant! , but that is what happened. We had to replace the medication stolen. My claim was for £88.48, but with a £75 excess that left my claim total of £13.48. First they said they did not receive my paperwork, but would get someone to phone my back, which they never. Luckily I had proof the documents had been sent and when I phoned them back and said so, he presto they found my claim forms. Next they gave me back £9:05 so again i had to phone back and point out to them I had with my claim forms given proof by a copy of my credit card statement that I should have been given £13:48. I have just heard that they now acknowledge the underpayment, but I am still waiting on the £4:43 to hit my bank account. I also had non medical insurance with another company and was paid within one week. Will never use Just Travel again. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Stress free process

Trying to get insurance for a short trip to Spain while waiting cancer biopsy results. I was happy to accept that no cancer related claims could be made and they made the process a lot less complicated and stressful. And the price was good! Reviewed on: 14th July 2023

Fantastic saving compared to other travel insurance companies.

Earlier this year I had to have a pacemaker and defibrilator fitted and so I dreaded making the enquiry for my travel insurance renewal but was aided by a lady, Sam I think her name was, who made it so simple and at the end of it all compared to last year it was almost half price and includes luggage cover. Trouble free

Fantastic insurance company, rang direct for a quote with my daughter having health issues, not a problem for this company to cover her and the price was not excessive like some other places had quoted us previously.
