Very professional and friendly

I was transferring a Stocks and Shares ISA from a third party into a Cash ISA with Leek United . The on line process was clear but I hit a glitch somewhere , can't recall just what it was . The great help was that there was a telephone number to call and like magic someone answered almost immediately . the person was not only well informed but also very approachable and reassuring . the whole experience was good and continues to be so . Leek Building Society - excellent!

I have been a Leek (United) Building Society customer for many years. In all my dealings regarding mortgages, insurance products and savings I have always found them excellent to deal with. The branch network is a real strength of the society. Admittedly they may not always have the cheapest mortgage rates or best saving rates but they make up for that with a consistent approach to customer service. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone - particularly young adults who can get the saving habit started with a great partner. Reviewed on: 24th January 2024
