Fairly straightforward claims process

Relatively straightforward claims process, just a little fiddly having to upload pic/vids by the app only - the should also be available through Lemonade's website, but a relatively painless claims process and paid out in just 10 days. Very good customer service with regular updates on claim progression. Reviewed on: 26th April 2026

My claim was processed with great communication and efficiency. Rene was really friendly but professional and I felt like he really took care to understand the details of my case. I had a claim and got asked to send so many different bits of evidence from photos, measurements, invoices and more. I sent all of this over the space of a few days. I got asked to send things I'd already sent to you bit you'd clearly not looked at everything correctly. Then it got sent to another company as it was furniture and thry deal with that. For them to ask exactly the same things. So no information had been passed on. They then send out an Inspector who was great but he hadn't been given a single bit of Information he needed. I had to find everything I'd sent to you to show him. Overall the communication was very poor between the company's and I also wasted a lot of time sending Information when none of it was even used as an Inspector came out. Reviewed on: 1st April 2026

Pretty smooth process to get a claim reimbursed, except that I couldn't do it through their app as they only accept Dutch IBANs. Once alerted, the customer service agents responded super quickly to manually process the claim. Reviewed on: 18th March 2026

When I was making a claim, Lemonade made me to download their app, record a video and provide all the information. Then, despite having all the information, they asked for it again (twice) via emails, making me feel like 1. they're stupid, 2. they lost information I gave them, 2. I was lying (asking for details of people I do not have) - it was frustrating and unnecessary. I will make an effort to switch elsewhere at the renewal time. Reviewed on: 16th February 2026
