Mis leading Travel Insurance

In my opinion LV misrepresent and mis sell their travel insurance. Why do I say this? My holiday was impacted as a result of the air traffic control problems I lost 2 days stay at the hotel. I was confident I was covered as my policy stated… £5000 cover for cancelled or shortened trips. However lv are trying to renege on this by referring to another clause (not visible on the document they sent me). I chose lv because I thought they were a trustworthy company ( I also have my ca... Fast, Friendly and Efficient!

I was forced to cancel travel plans due to illness; I had expected making a claim would be a painful and arduous process - however, I was pleasantly surprised! LV talked me through exactly what I needed to do, making it clear that they would be on hand should I need further assistance. I sent them the requisite proof of illness letter from my GP, and they processed my claim most expeditiously. Very impressed indeed, as they made what is usually quite a daunting task, simple and ... Great for outdoors holidays

For a recent trip to Canada I was finding it difficult to find travel insurance that would cover extreme sports such as white water rafting for a reasonable price. However getting insurance with LV was quick, easy and reasonably priced. Reviewed on: 5th September 2017
