Anyone who lives or works in Manchester, Tameside, Trafford, Rochdale, Stockport or High Peak and Bury can join Manchester Credit Union and apply for a loan.

Manchester Credit Union loans are available for up to £15,000. Members can clear the balance of a loan at any time and won’t be charged any early settlement fees.

I love the credit union.

I love the credit union. I have my money paid in monthly. Then the loans are simply to apply for, they take it from my money before I get it so it’s easy paying back and not loads of interest like other providers Reviewed on: 12th June 2025

I have always found the service to be fair, speedy and excellent in terms of apr. Such a great help to families when something occurs unexpected. Also being able to save alongside repaying the loan is brilliant. A great help towards Christmas or birthdays. Reviewed on: 12th June 2025
