Manchester Credit Union loans are available for up to £15,000. Members can clear the balance of a loan at any time and won’t be charged any early settlement fees.

I'm a nurse and signed up through the NHS. The money I save each month come straight out of my salary so I feel like I don't miss it. Although if I do need to dip into it, I can transfer a sum from the credit union and it appears instantly in my current account. It allows me to save for treats for the family and secret birthday or anniversary gifts for my husband who would notice me spending from our joint account! This year I am saving a small amount towards Christmas. I can't dip into this so I know I will have a little nest egg built up for December. It is a very easy and flexible way to save but with access if needed. Any dealings I have had have been dealt with quickly and efficiently by the knowledgeable, efficient and friendly staff.
