Anyone who lives or works in Manchester, Tameside, Trafford, Rochdale, Stockport or High Peak and Bury can join Manchester Credit Union and apply for a loan.

Manchester Credit Union loans are available for up to £15,000. Members can clear the balance of a loan at any time and won’t be charged any early settlement fees.

The staff are always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whether you contact them by phone or through the app. The loan process is straightforward and fair, and they’ve been a real lifeline when I needed support. I also really appreciate how easy the mobile app is to use — I can check my balance, make withdrawals, and track transactions without any hassle. It makes managing my finances so much easier. As someone who prefers dealing with organisations that actually care about their members, Manchester Credit Union has always made me feel valued and supported. It’s a great alternative to high street banks, especially if you want a community-based service that’s genuinely looking out for you.
