Anyone who lives or works in Manchester, Tameside, Trafford, Rochdale, Stockport or High Peak and Bury can join Manchester Credit Union and apply for a loan.

Manchester Credit Union loans are available for up to £15,000. Members can clear the balance of a loan at any time and won’t be charged any early settlement fees.

I have always had a very positive experience with credit union. Staff are always efficient and helpful. Great service. Loans are easy to apply for and not over complicated which makes the experience much better. Mo eh is available usually the same day. Reviewed on: 19th May 2026
