A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

Savings Account for rainy days

I have beem with Manchester Credit Union for about 6 years. I save a small amount each month and it gives me a lot of peace of mind. I can see my savings grow online, I feel rest assured that if I need to use my savings I can withdraw them without any hassle and know that if I needed extra money I could apply for a credit union loan. Their website is simple to use and provides all the information I need. As an extra bonus every saver is provided with generous life insurance. The life insurance doubles your savings deposits in case of your death to help love ones pay for funeral expenses. Reviewed on: 18th May 2022

Excellent Service

I have saved with Credit Union for a few years now, to save for many different things. Always been great and easy to withdraw money from my account as well. Great experience too notch

I have been using Manchester credit union for almost 2 years now and I have never had any issue with my savings or withdrawal. It helps me to keep my savings separate from my usual account. Sometimes I almost forgot i have money somewhere which is great for me as it helps me keep save up for my future goal. I haven’t had issue warranting a call to the customer service but I am sure they are available when needed. Overall great experience so far Reviewed on: 11th April 2026

This my safety net.

I have been a customer for some years now and have had loans when needed with no problems. They have always been helpful to me. I have two accounts one for emergency and one for as and when needed.
