A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

Savings Account for rainy days

I have beem with Manchester Credit Union for about 6 years. I save a small amount each month and it gives me a lot of peace of mind. I can see my savings grow online, I feel rest assured that if I need to use my savings I can withdraw them without any hassle and know that if I needed extra money I could apply for a credit union loan. Their website is simple to use and provides all the information I need. As an extra bonus every saver is provided with generous life insurance. The life insurance doubles your savings deposits in case of your death to help love ones pay for funeral expenses. Reviewed on: 18th May 2022

I've been struggling to save.

I've been struggling to save.so the family loan is perfect! As well as paying my loan back I am saving to. There is so many products discounts and way more things to use your credit union account for! The staff are so helpful and talk us through any questions about the products. Never saved before didn’t know how to

Never saved before didn’t know how to then opened a Manchester credit union account to receive a child benefit loan which required me to save at the same time and 8 years later I’m still saving it really helps for emergency’s holidays and Christmas I’m never in a position where I’m left with nothing Reviewed on: 14th July 2025
