Easy to contact staff. Staff are knowledgeable, quick to respond and always call me back as promised. They seem prepared to “go the extra mile” to help. Processes appear somewhat laborious and manual based. Reviewed on: 10th February 2024

Friendly staff and competing rates

The staff are lovely and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. Its much better doing bsnking face to face thean by the internet. The interest rates at Mansfield Building Society are competitive and I hope to keep on saving with them for years to come. Reviewed on: 9th February 2024

Better interest

I wrote in to say that I was disappointed that the interest rate on an account that I held with MBS had not kept pace with the times. An alternative account was offered to which I transferred my investement. This was all satisfactory but there was a little delay in dealing with my enquiry. Reviewed on: 9th February 2024

I felt your transfer of Isa took too long.

I felt your transfer of Isa took too long. You took 6 days to register my account and send it on to the other bank/building society to send a cheque etc. to you.The other side took another 6 days to close my account and send funds to you. All in all including weekends which is not counted and the rather abysmal postal service it took just over month to open my account with you which for me is not acceptable. Recently when I transferred another isa to Coventry Building Society they literally took 2-3 days because they did the transfer of funds online that is what I call excellent customer service second to none. With the way the Postal service is going with Ofcom ready to agree to cut to a 3 day service I will now have to make telephone enquiries before moving my isa. I will not bank or move to institutions that rely on the postal service. Reviewed on: 24th January 2024
