great customer service

The customer service team are friendly and have always been willing to answer any questions I have had. I needs to make a claim for my pet and they were happy to talk ne through it when my vet wouldn't process a direct claim, despite ManyPets having a vet portal. They were lovely when I had follow up questions about the time it would take to be reimbursed and my renewal price only increased slightly (£2 a month) even though I had claimed. Terrible company to deal with

We took out pet insurance with this company last year. Our dog became ill without any pre-existing conditions, we followed the correct procedures, submitted a claim and it was rejected. Since then our dog has died, they ignore emails and have continued to take monthly payments by direct debit. This is a terrible company to deal with with no compassion. Please do not take out pet insurance with them for your pet. Reviewed on: 17th February 2026

Employee's working from home

This working from home is not working I spoke to a representative and they couldn't be bothered you could hear a television in the background it's about time they got back to a office then maybe they could be bothered to keep a customer that has been with them for four years now they have lost 2 policy through this made a complaint same answer we very sorry to loose you would not use this company again now having to go to financial ombudsman Reviewed on: 11th February 2026

Takes an absolute age for ManyPets to credit 'Moneyb...

Takes an absolute age for ManyPets to credit 'Moneyback', each year it becomes longer and longer. Depending on who you speak with, there is little continuity - different agents tell you different information. The increase year on year on the policy price is also unacceptable - young animals and have never made a claim, not satisfied all round from the service I have received. Avoid ManyPets.

Avoid ManyPets. They denied my claim by classifying an over-the-counter preventive urinary diet as “treatment” to force a pre-existing condition exclusion — despite my vet confirming it was not treatment. Even worse, the same food is not recognised as prescription food when it comes to reimbursement. Inconsistent, unfair, and clearly designed to avoid paying claims. I’ve cancelled my policy and would not recommend this insurer to anyone. Reviewed on: 15th December 2025

Part of pre-approved claim refused due to amount

I’ve been with them for the second year now. My first claim (under £200) was approved, but as soon as the costs increased, they found reasons to decline, even though it was clearly part of the same ongoing claim. My policy explicitly covers pre-existing conditions, yet they are refusing to pay on the grounds that my cat has never been “clear of pre-existing symptoms” – despite my vet confirming that my cat has not been treated for this. Their reasoning is based only on the fact that we purchased a food supplement from the vet, which is not a valid justification under the policy. This feels like a deliberate attempt to avoid paying legitimate claims. I feel scammed and will be escalating this matter to the Financial Ombudsman and other relevant channels.
