Not what they promised me!

I purchased Manypets insurance over a year ago, I asked if my pets had to see a vet first. I was told "no" and I have the emails to prove it. My Chihuahua had blood work done, total kidney failure, had to put him down next day. I submitted claims, only to play email tag because they kept asking for stuff. My Chihuahua has never been ill till he passed, but Manypets got all the paperwork from the visits, proof of invoice payment, so they came back with " we need prior 18 months of history' there is no history, he got vaccinated at Petco, traveling veterinarian no office. They billed me for his insurance the month after he died, never got a refund but they will credit me towards my other dogs policy! I had no say. I called and cancelled this policy completely, they have only been around since 2017, originating in Sweden then UK now 29 states in the USA. I will never trust another pet insurance company again, save your money it will be cheaper than paying for insurance that finds ways not to pay and you still end up paying out of pocket. Thankfully I havnt had to claim from this company however they have exceptional value for money on their plans with good coverage, I have just had my insurance renewed at a cheaper price and in light of this in the times we’re living in now would absolutely recommend to anyone. Massive price hike!

Been with this insurance company for several years, never made a claim and overnight £20 per month increase, I was paying £50 pm already for two pets. And extra £240 a year! Shocking and disgraceful in the current climate, avoid at all costs! Reviewed on: 28th June 2022

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. This Pet insurance is not what it seems. It seems like they offer a lot in cover, access to a online vet and rewards. But as soon as your a customer this is not the case. Once you make a first real claim this is when you realise that the big things the company will wiggle themselves out of. Look at the Feefo reviews for 1 star. Many heart breaking stories where owners had to put down their pets, just shameful. Very improtant to note as a distiction is that they do not offer 'pre-autherisation' like reputable pet insurance companies. This is when your pet needs expensive treatment other insurers will review and tell you they will cover to give you piece of mind. ManyPets do not do this. You will be encouraged just to submit the claim, and after taking 3 months to process to tell you they will not cover. Also on the added benefits - accessing vets free on FirstVet. Good luck trying to access. ManyPets blame FirstVet when the links do not work. And there is no way to resolve this between the two companies. The rest of the rewards is basicly ManyPets offering a marketing channels to external companies to their cusomers. My experience with my kittens I had a sudden excess added without prior notice changing my contract. I suddenly was told I needed to pay higher premiums when I moved areas. So in summary, this is pointless. I'm apting to save my premiums of my kittens when they are older. Which PS the insureres do not pay fully Reviewed on: 25th June 2022

I have been with ManyPets (previously Bought by Many) for several years, never had a claim. My renewal cost came through today for £80! £20 more than last month! My house insurance is less than that! Total joke on the pricing. The rep just says 'its based on the data, it's £80' I have cancelled - this is a ridiculous price! Reviewed on: 22nd June 2022
