I am in a basset hound group and whenever anyone asks about insurance, Bought by Many comes highly recommended. I have not claimed on my policy but plenty of members of the group have and say payment is swift and fair. I will get 20% back if no claims are made in a year as I have the cash back policy. We have had Kobe our Cockapoo for a couple of months ago and signing up to the Bought By Many pet insurance was such a great purchase. The free unlimited facetime calls with vets inclusive of this policy was a no brainer for us and we have got so much use out of it. The customer service is spot on! Reviewed on: 15th September 2020

When we needed them most

My cat is part of the family, and last year we had a bit of a scare. He started losing weight unexpectedly and developed laboured breathing. First there was the blockage in his nose, then the potential of cancer. Test after test, we gradually ruled out the possibilities of what was causing his issues. Eventually, it came down to some surgery to remove the blockage in his nose and a change in diet to address his elevated calcium levels. What people really don’t talk about is the cost of the tests. These ran into thousands for us. If it wasn’t for BoughtByMany the financial side would have caused some issues for us. Instead, every time I called to make a claim, I spoke with someone who was incredibly kind and considerate of the situation we were in. They asked about my cat, and were patient with my many questions. They even worked directly with my vet to cover the costs, so I didn’t have to pay for treatments before receiving the money from them. We ended up using the full cover amount in the first year so I was expecting a huge hike in premiums as a result. That didn’t happen, which was a welcome surprise. Simple and straightforward

Our fury friends are now insured by BBM and have to say that our experience to date has been great, albeit whilst turnaround times on our first claim was slower than our previous insurer, it was processed. I would recommend the product to others as the benefits of the policy are good when compared against others. Reviewed on: 15th September 2020
