When you speak to Marcus. You instantly talk to a human being without going through a longautomated system. My savings account is simple and money is easy to transfer. The app is simple and the interest rate goes up much quicker than my other accounts. Above all the best customer service of all the banks I use. And have used on the past. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2023

Great Instant Access Savings Account

"It does what it says on the tin" - my only minor grouse is that I receive a website warning about scams when all I can do is transfer funds to my linked current account. I am advised by text and by e-mail everytime I make a withdrawal so I guess I am safe from an account hack. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2023

First Class Service - Other Banks Please Take Note!

I opened my A/C with Marcus 2-3 years ago and can honestly say I can't fault them. In these days where everything you touch becomes a problem due to staff incompetence, it makes a very pleasant change to find at last, an organisation where you don't have to spend hours on the phone wasting your time with idiots who either can't understand what you're saying or don't know how to do their job. While it started off with leading rates when it first entered the market, it quickly lagged behind all the other players. After many months it now has increased rates but not enough to match the top accounts. What makes it worse is that outgoing payments seem to be incredibly delayed. It can take several hours for a payment to reach your linked bank account even on a weekday. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023
