Avoid this service at all costs.

I am extremely disappointed with Monese. My account has been blocked/disabled, and I am unable to perform any operations, whether internal or external transactions, or even use my card. To make matters worse, my savings are completely locked, and the customer support is unresponsive. I have sent numerous emails, attaching all required bank statements, but all I receive are the same automated replies with no actual resolution or communication from their team. This has been a frustrating and stressful experience, and I wouldn’t recommend trusting Monese with your money. Avoid this service at all costs. Reviewed on: 17th January 2025

Monese made my life easier

Monese provide unbelievably great service. What they achieve with a simple mobile app is like magic for banking. Operating in the UK and EU helped me a lot with my personal finances. At the moment they are the #1 service in my very short exclusive list! Reviewed on: 3rd February 2019

Bad service!

They blocked my account without a reason! I don’t get my money back! Reviewed on: 2nd February 2019

WARNING!!!

Monese will steal all your money! I transfered money to my Euro account and Monese froze the Transfer and blocked my account with all my money! The support won’t help you! And I still wait for my money for more than a month!!! They don’t care about you and your money! I contacted the Financial ombudsman in UK and also the European Consumer Centre. I hope I will get my money back with their help. So my advice to you: DO NOT OPEN A MONESE BANK ACCOUNT!!! Trust all the negative reviews and not the thousands of “positive” reviews it’s fake! Monese is just in the beginning nice to you, but once you trust Monese they will take all your money and block your account Reviewed on: 2nd February 2019
