Saving for a house as a first time buyer

Saving for a house as a first time buyer is difficult and can feel out of reach within the current economy. However moneybox makes it feels more accessible to young people by adding the government bonus. I was recommended it by a friend and wouldn’t even look at any other ISA. Reviewed on: 9th April 2026

Really easy to use!

App could be simplified

I moved my existing LISA over to Moneybox as the interest rate was better. I don’t love the app (it is unnecessarily complicated) but I have no major complaints. Reviewed on: 9th April 2026

Found the help to buy ISA so helpful when I started saving for my first home. Felt very daunting at first saving but the extra 25% bonus was very motivating and it keeps me on track for saving the most amount as possible for my home.
