It’s a great app that has allowed me to start saving for my first home. It is extremely easy to use and there is plenty of information available that has helped me utilise the app and manage my money better. Would 100% recommend Moneybox

I had a Lisa with Hargreaves Landdowne before, but after seeing Moneybox on social media, I decided to give them a try and have not looked back since and have transferred my Lisa from HL over to Moneybox now. Super easy to use app.

Went from Help to buy, to Lifetime ISA

I'd previously had a help to buy account with Barclays, with the goal of saving for a house and it had stagnated for years, I was earning no interest, getting no bonus and worst was that I had complete access so I was always withdrawing. Over coronavirus I opened a Moneybox account to start a small savings account, with how easy it was to use and how comfortable I got with it, I transferred my pension pots, I got to choose how I invested and the pot grew much better than I expected. From there I decided to Open a Lifetime ISA which I was actually very suspicious of, given my help to buy had gone so poorly, I didn't know anyone else with a Lifetime isa and I just didn't think I would get the bonus. But from the first month of opening it I was on such a better track, I was getting the bonus, interest, option to invest and no ability to take the money out. In 3 years my isa has gone from 5k in the help to buy, to 17k and counting. The growth has been so motivating, the customer service over the last few years has always been the same day, issues always sorted, sometimes I've been contacted about an issue before I even knew there was one. There was one occasion they'd underpaid my interest, they gave that back and added to it and I hadn't even noticed until they let me know. I didn't really believe someone from my background could really build a life and wealth but now I use every account Moneybox offers and it has been a total gamechanger. Reviewed on: 15th April 2025
