I recommend a lisa to everyone my age

I was recommended a moneybox lisa by a friend and it is a fantastic way to get guaranteed returns and embed positive saving habits. Simple and easy, helping to make my money grow.

My LISA was super easy to set up and the app has really easy navigation and reminders to pop more money in to ensure I hit the annual target to claim the most bonus. I’ve had a lifetime ISA with Moneybox for several years and it’s been an easy process all along. When I came up to withdrawal time, they answered my queries promptly, and helped out at the last minute when some of the details didn’t line up. I’ll finally be able to own a home

I was interested in investing money but most banks were asking for a minimum of a £500 down payment. I saw Moneybox advertise that you could invest with them for as little as £2 a week and saw their advert for the LISA as well and so I opened my LISA investment account. I’ve never had this amount of money saved and their Goals feature has helped to keep me motivated and set a realistic goal that I now know is possible to achieve in as little as 5 years! I never thought I would be able to get myself onto the property ladder and now I know it’s going to happen for me, I’m also having fun with the investments too. I actually ended up transferring my forgotten pensions and opened up a personal pension with Moneybox too, the whole process was pretty quick and I only needed to submit my details once and it was done. So not only am I set to obtain my first mortgage, I am also in control of money I hadn’t even considered and had been forgotten about. Reviewed on: 5th February 2025
