Oh! What a transformation, what a revelation! Had you told me, in the dark days of my miserliness, that I should take delight in the workings of a mobile application, I’d have called you madder than Marley’s ghost! And yet, here I am—a man reborn!—to sing the praises of the Moneybox Stocks and Shares ISA with all the fervour of a choirboy on Christmas morning! Ease of use, you say? Why, it’s simpler than sending a Christmas goose to Bob Cratchit’s house! The interface is as clear as the snow that blankets London rooftops—clean, intuitive, and without the cumbersome frills that used to make investing the domain of bankers and barons. Even I, a man once more familiar with ledgers than iPhones, find myself navigating it with the ease of a lad skipping through the streets of Camden. Why, with a few taps of the finger—taps, mind you!—I can invest in stocks, monitor my portfolio, and adjust my contributions! No chain-rattling bureaucracy, no visits from the Ghost of Hidden Fees. And what’s more, the regular contribution feature is a marvel—nay, a miracle! Like Tiny Tim’s restored health, it fills my heart with hope and steadiness. To those still counting pennies in fear or burying gold in the back garden, I say this: try Moneybox. It has turned even me—Ebenezer Scrooge!—into a cheerful, forward-looking investor. Save without feeling the pinch

A very easy way to save for the future and because you pay weekly it doesn't feel like you miss it. Add payday boost or whenever you have some spare cash. Whilst investing in stocks & shares always involves some risk, long term the stock market had always proved worthwhile. There was a dip in 2020 at the start of the covid pandemic when investing went into the negative, but it soon bounced back. Reviewed on: 16th April 2021

Investing made simple

Moneybox make investing available to anyone. Their round-up option makes it simple and easy to start investing with as little as pennies. The app itself is easy to navigate and makes managing your portfolio very straightforward with options on how you wish to invest. Important information is accessible and kept simple and to the point. Moneybox don’t bog you down with jargon at all. The support team are friendly and helpful and the instant chat option enables you to keep on top of your conversations and means you get great response times. Overall a great app and a great team. Save without thinking

Moneybox is one of those apps that you wish had been around years ago. As someone who (at 30) had struggled with saving effectively since I started earning in my late teens, this app has helped to change all that. Its user friendly interface makes it nice and simple to understand what the product is about and any risk involved. You can set a weekly amount to be saved, but can also attach your current account to round up your purchases and add these to your savings, which helps to boost your savings without really noticing its come out of your account. There are many other features such as the time machine which looks at how much money you are likely to have saved 10 years ahead based on your current saving pattern. Its hard to focus on just the stocks and shares product as the app also hosts some other nifty featues to help with managing your money.
