The interest rate on this account is variable and the money is locked away until the child is 18. The account can be opened with £500 and requires a minimum monthly contribution of £10.

I'm happy with Moneyfarm's JISA

As a parent, I was looking for a reliable and low-cost investment platform to start saving for my child's future. I came across Moneyfarm's Junior ISA and decided to give it a try. I was impressed with the platform's user-friendly interface and tools that helped me choose the right investment portfolio for my child's needs. The fees are also quite competitive compared to other investment platforms. I appreciate the transparency in how Moneyfarm invests my money, and I feel confident knowing that the investments are being managed by experienced professionals. While it's still early days, I'm hoping to see good returns in the long run. A brilliant JISA

I set up a Junior Isa for our newborn daughter a few weeks after she was born. My brain was a fuzzy mess at that point, but the process of setting up the JISA was simple enough that I could complete it easily. Moneyfarm also provide a set of instructions that can be copied and pasted for grandparents, other family members, or friends who would like to contribute to the child's savings. This made it much easier to tell others how they could invest. The dashboard has made it easy to see how my daughter's investment is growing, and the charges are the lowest I could find for the kind of investment we were looking for.
