A Monzo Business account lifer, never switching again

I've been self-employed for over 15 years, and for most of that time I banked with NatWest for my business. It did the job, but it was never easy, clunky online banking, slow processes, and none of the modern tools that make running a small business less stressful. When I switched my personal current account to Monzo, I was instantly impressed by how intuitive and clean everything felt. So when the time came to reconsider my business banking, trying Monzo Business was a natural next step, and I genuinely haven't looked back. The difference is night and day. Monzo Business is built with the self-employed person in mind. The Pots feature alone has transformed how I manage my finances, I can set aside money for tax, separate client payments, and keep a rainy-day fund, all within one account and completely at a glance. No more mental gymnastics trying to work out what's "safe" to spend. The invoicing tools are a game changer too. Being able to send a professional invoice directly from the app saves me time and keeps everything in one place. It removes the need for separate subscriptions to invoicing software for straightforward work. Everything just works seamlessly, the real-time notifications, the clean transaction feed, the instant visibility over what's coming in and going out. For someone running their own business, that clarity is genuinely valuable. I'm a Monzo Lifer, and I say that with full conviction. I recommend Monzo Business to every self-employed person and business owner I know. If you're still with a traditional bank out of habit, I'd urge you to make the switch, you won't regret it.
