Gives a child independence with finances!

Would be nice if i could pay the yearly fee monthly as can be alot if money up front, ok if you can afford it, other then that its a fantastic tool for me and my daughter, i will getting one for my son when he starts secondary school thus year Reviewed on: 12th April 2021

Teaches money management to my teen

My daughter has saved up for things she wanted using Rooster Money App & the payment card means she can go out with friends safe in the knowledge that she has a way of getting funds if things don't go to plan - reassuring for us both. She lost her card once & it could be blocked on the app by my daughter as soon as she realised & the Customer Service team were friendly & very helpful, getting a replacement card out really fast. All round a great app with loads of feature presented in a non-intimidating way for younger people to engage with. No jargon. Really love this & so pleased I signed us up for a Rooster Card. secure and stress free

Perfect, I no longer worry about him losing his money even when he travels to the city and back on his own. Its his first step to independence, both my son and I can control it so piece of mind is fantastic. Its also great as it opens the door to communication, money value as they can earn more helping around the house, birthday money can be sent from family too between us. He is also learning to save by using the simple to use related savings account! enjoy the fact that i keep money in my parent account, ready to transfer as and when its needed.. if he loses his card .. no problem.. he tells me, I cancel it, secure features includes having to pop pin in fairly regularly too, which reduces unauthorised usage considerably Love it. He has mentioned that he wasnt able to buy chips/coke in a pub restaurant once... but hey thats not a bad thing! lol Reviewed on: 12th April 2021

Single handedly the best tool to control children

I have tried GoHenry, Starling's Kite and a couple of others, but nothing could motivate my children to properly understand the value of work for money. Sure, it's only chores, but with Rooster, I can give them a steady allowance, but when they come begging for more, I know that I can always follow it up by directing them to Rooster's app which has a nice selection of chores for them to do. The icing on the cake is that if I am not around, they can upload a photograph of evidence, and I can easily approve the chore to be paid. It's brilliant! I no longer have to empty the dishwasher..! An amazing surprise

I was looking for an app to help me control my son's allowance, and Rooster money it's brilliant app for it. I can control everything from my mobile and my son is learning about money as well. I'm very happy with the app. Reviewed on: 12th April 2021

Brilliant app

Rooster Money makes it so easy for parents and kids to keep track of their weekly pocket money - my two love seeing their total grow and the app has encouraged them to save towards goals (and the automatic scheduling means we don't have to remember to add money each week!)
