Piggy banks are out

5
Great app! We failed trying to teach our kids to save using a traditional piggy bank but with this app they are actually excited about saving and they now compete against each other to see who can save the most. They have set household chores to do daily and failure to do this means money deducted from their weekly pocket money. Also having the bank card has given our 11 year old some independence and responsibility which has been great for his confidence. Thoroughly recommend and have done to friends. Thanks Rooster! Simply Perfect

We’ve been using this app for a while now and just love it. For both parent and child, the functionality and experience are great. We couldn’t think of using anything different now. Highly recommend. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

Finally teaching the value of money!

5
We’re pretty new to the app at this time but my daughter is already realising the value of money, putting money in her save pot and only taking out what she wants/needs. Being alerted to what she spends is great and her Nan ( who isn’t app savy) also has the app so she pays her pocket money straight into the account. Everyone is happy! Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

Great for financial responsibility

5
Rooster has been a brilliant way for my daughter to learn about money management, especially cashless which is the world she is growing up in. The option to add chores has been a boon in getting her motivated around the house and the app is as easy for her to use as it is for the parents. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

Easy, and positive. How all banking should be.

Teaching kids to save and earn, and how to manage money, as well as offering motivation through incentivised chores. A great app and a great package allowing us some oversight and the kids to take personal responsibility. It encourages independence and allows for some ownership too. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

Amazing app for kids - helping educate them about money and saving.

My two daughters absolutely love using Rooster money, it is such an invaluable tool for teaching children from an early age about managing money and saving. I wish I had something like this when I was younger. Now my youngest has turned 6 she can now have a banking card like her big sister. Each week they are given a weekly allowance based on the jobs they do in the home. 20 per cent is placed into a savings pit and the rest on their card to spend. They can also do additional chores to earn extra pocket money and can easily see what they they need to save to reach their goals. For example my daughter saves for Lego sets and knows how much she would need to save for it and how long it will take. The card is brilliant as it allows them to get the money out if they wanted to but they usually order things online just like I do, especially during the pandemic they have access to things which they wouldn’t have with just giving them pocket money. I would highly recommend Rooster to other parents and think the annual price is very competitive compared to other companies. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021

Sophisticated yet simple

This is a great app to manage pocket money for my young kids, they love the control they get through their app such as saving for specific goals, and I love the oversight it provides, and the way in which it reaches them how to manage their money. They even enjoy doing the boring chores now! Reviewed on: 3rd February 2021
