Setting up new on-line savings accounts

1 Interest rate is very good. 2 Maximum amount is VERY low. 3 Transfer times are slow. 4 This is advertised as being an on-line account but it isn't really. Snail mail is involved in setting it up. 5 I set up two accounts. One in my name and one in my wife's. I have a middle name but my wife doesn't. On her "Profile" page my wife's name is spelt correctly but on her "Summery" page your computer has inserted my middle initial into her name. I called you about it. It still hasn't been corrected yet. Reviewed on: 27th December 2022

NBS Existing Members account opened online

Was a bit confusing whether I was going to get a physical passbook or not also if I would be asked to go into branch with ID. When finished the application, the page told me to wait until I received a secure message saying the account was opened. However as soon as the application was submitted and I returned to the main account screen, the new account was there along with details about how to make deposits but I still waited for the secure message to appear. Very easy welcome to become a Newbury Building Society Member

I had wanted to review my finances for some time and decided to go to Newbury as it was local and had been recommended to me by my brother. Appointment quickly arranged and three accounts opened which suited my needs. Staff were helpful and informative. Very easy and accessible, happy to support local business.
