Redeemed my mortgage- Sian and Charlotte thankyou

I wanted to repay my mortgage in full. Charlotte explained everything fully what I needed to do. Then I spoke to Sian twice when I had the date and she was also excellent and very patient with me. Excellent customer Service. Reviewed on: 19th June 2026

Amazing service tailored to my personal needs.

I have been a costomer of Newbury Building society nearly ten years. They offered mortgages to niche markets, such as newly self-employed and over 60's. They gave me a mortgage taking ibto account all of my financial circumstances. Their operatives have always listened to my needs and been very empathic und understanding. My mortgage appointment was clear and easy, Hannah explained how the appointment would run so I knew what would be covered, and explained all my options clearly, and answered my questions. Happy mortgage customer

I had a bit of a problem to connect to the mortgage department telephonically. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful but could not do anything to help. She asked the mortgage personel to call me, which they did and problem solved. Other than that little hiccup I am very happy with the service! Reviewed on: 1st June 2026

Re-mortgage

Five years ago our initial mortgage application was done in person, but this re-mortgage was done remotely and nothing could have been easier. Each step in the process was clearly explained and at all times we knew exactly where we were in the process. Every letter and telephone call from them to us came at the expected time and contained all the information we needed. Just an overall efficient, friendly and stress free process.
