My mortgage appointment was super efficient!

My mortgage appointment was clear and easy, Hannah explained how the appointment would run so I knew what would be covered, and explained all my options clearly, and answered my questions. Happy mortgage customer

I had a bit of a problem to connect to the mortgage department telephonically. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful but could not do anything to help. She asked the mortgage personel to call me, which they did and problem solved. Other than that little hiccup I am very happy with the service! Reviewed on: 1st June 2026

Re-mortgage

Five years ago our initial mortgage application was done in person, but this re-mortgage was done remotely and nothing could have been easier. Each step in the process was clearly explained and at all times we knew exactly where we were in the process. Every letter and telephone call from them to us came at the expected time and contained all the information we needed. Just an overall efficient, friendly and stress free process. Lauren Dearlove and Newbury.

Lauren Dearlove has been a very good contact. She has been patient and excellent. Apart from a member of staff that spoke very poor English and had difficulty understanding what I wanted, I would still give the Newbury 5 stars as Lauren Dearlove more than made up for it. Such a shame you do not do the type of commercial mortgage I wanted but would not hesitate if I need a commercial one. Reviewed on: 20th May 2026

Newbury took a very sensible and pragmatic approach...

Newbury took a very sensible and pragmatic approach to our rather unsual house purchase, and where other mortgage lenders had so many rules which frankly didn't make sense Newbury simply took a rational approach. They were "flexible" and made our new home purchase possible. We would recommend them. Reviewed on: 18th May 2026
