Online Chat was nice and easy

Avoid One Call Insurance

Onecall requested further information regarding a previous claim made 4 years ago that I had thought was longer than 5 years, which is okay and shows they are doing their job. The first and second reminder letters for further information were dated on the same day. I uploaded pdf details of a this claim as requested. A letter was received stating the Additional premimum by the insurer and the adminstration fee charged by onecall, over 60% of the additional fee was made up of administartion costs charged by onecall. A day after the additional premium letter I received a final reminder for additional information that had already been sent a week earlier. I decided to contact OneCall, now I challenge people to try finding the Live Chat online, it is almost impossible. After a disapointing live chat I have cancelled my policy with OneCall and returned to the far superior Direct Line. Reviewed on: 26th July 2023

Easy to change your plate. The only thing i don't like no phone contact. I was number 5 on chat took 45 min just for contact. Found error in my doc., went back on chat position 21. Had to make temporary cover with another company. Reviewed on: 25th July 2023

Horrible tactics, pressurised selling.

My partner contacted One call to update her insurance as she's moved in with me. We are 7 doors down the road from her previous address, have greater security, are further and less visible from the public highway. The change resulted in a quote that was a 200% increase on her premium. When my partner said she wanted to see if this was competitive, the agent effectively cancelled her insurance - reducing her cover to RTA only with immediate effect unless she took the new premium. Abysmal

I only took out car insurance two weeks ago. They asked for proof of no claims, which I duly uploaded, but no option to give any further info. The document was password protected. They asked me to provide password via live chat. Unable to get through via live chat. Unable to call as they don't accept calls unless you're making a claim?!?!? So what do I do? Customer service does not exist with this company. They have now increased my policy by almost £200 as a result, even though I have my proof of no claims! I now obviously want to cancel my policy and go elsewhere, but guess what - there's no option to do that on their portal and they don't take calls!!!!! How can they be called One Call when the one thing I can't do is CALL?!?? If I could give zero stars, I would. Reviewed on: 24th July 2023

What Portal

I have been with one Call for a couple of years, in that time I have never been able to access the portal or reset a password that would allow me to access my portal. I have currently been asked to provide some information regarding a claim that has nothing to do with me. However there is no address to send the information to. No phone number to contact them anywhere, Almost unsatisfactory situation. Unless there are some improvements U shall not be using them again Reviewed on: 23rd July 2023
