Tread Cautiously - wolves in sheep's clothing

Initially I thought that I had made a great choice using this company, however I am now forced to leave this review. I had recently moved house and changed my address, to whit I was charge a admin fee of £40, an admin fee that is charged not because any human has to a job, but an admin fee to move my address information from one database to another. After putting me in a position that forced me to pay the fee as they knew I had moved and any claim would become void. I am now in a position that this admin fee was used to change other details as my direct debit date was changed without my consent. Trying to contact these people is on its own a stressful process. Ridiculous

I have been trying to log on to retrieve my car insurance policy documents and activate my account. Every time it says there is an error. There is no one to call as it can only be dome online and as I cannot login I cannot talk to them via Livechat so I am completely stuck and want to tear my hair out it's just insane. Never again will I use them or any other company that does not have a telephone number where you can speak to someone in person! Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Be very aware

I inadvertently put start date as April instead of March and booked. Realised error and contacted One Call within an hour of booking, they wanted £130 to amend, policy was only £400. It was then cheaper to cancel £49.99 and find new insurer. £50 for 1 hours work and one key press error. No give at all and indeed seemed quite happy to simply send me T’s&C’s. You get what you pay for and reading claims reviews with one call this is not very much!!! Reviewed on: 28th March 2023

Would give zero stars if possible. If you have to make a claim with your car insurance, even if its not your fault, they cancel your policy and charge you the whole amount. So if you pay monthly, you owe them for the rest of the year, or if you pay in advance, you won't get a penny back. Read the T&Cs in extreme detail. This company may seem "cheap", but they are out to get money from you every single way possible. AVOID. Reviewed on: 20th March 2023

Refuse to not accept a renewal

Told the company vis webchat 3 weeks before renewal that I did not want there insurance. ?Totally ignored me and are trying to take just under £100 for cancellation. They do not even have an email address to follow up. BEWARE. Reviewed on: 1st March 2023

Impossible to cancel a renewal

Policies renew automatically unless you can get through to a human by telephone or livechat. Have been on phone for 40 minutes and waiting a half hour for a live chat response. Wish I had known this before taking the policy out as very time consuming and frustrating Reviewed on: 21st February 2023

Absolutely rip off!!!

Stay clear from these people they lie they take in authorise payments didn’t receive tracker and I work from home so after 2 and a half weeks they have taken £389 out of my account. Won’t cancel unless I except 192 refund. Please just don’t go there. Can’t get through have to use a portal rude like anything. Should not be trading at all!!! Extremely poor company

One call, please please please, stay clear. Absolutely disgusting. Like one of the previous reviews, failed to enter a non fault accident which happened 3 years ago, my mistake, but was charged £98 even though they had much more than 48 hours to check details. Bizarre, after the policy started, then I was notified of the discrepancy, this company should not be allowed to trade. Cooling off period in my experience, is just that, maybe a small admin charge, but £49.99 plus charges, just be warned. If I could find a way of warning people on social media, I would do so. Cancelled my policy on the web chat as no other option before renewal. Gone to a different company now have a letter saying I am in debt to them for 142.18 when my policy was paid up to date. Challenged it on the web chat got a obviously fed up employee who couldn't give a stuff saying I didn't follow the cancellation policy. When the portal doesn't allow you to do it, no phone line what can you do. I obviously have no transcript to prove I cancelled before renewal. We all need this when we have no money .
