No empathy and mistakes to apologise for mistakes following bereavement!!

We had to close an account following my mother-in-laws passing away. I would need to write a lot to explain how diabolically the bank - on EVERY level - dealt with the process from the first phone call, right up to apologising for the many mistakes they made. They even wrote to my mother-in-law to apologise, following knowledge that she had passed away. This is the essence of how they treat their customers, bank with them if you dare. Straightforward, honest people

Opening account was easy and they have acted with integrity over the recent rate cuts allowing closure without notice, an option that I have not taken up, but at least they offered it. Reviewed on: 9th September 2016

easy to deal with

Opened a savings account with them, as they had the best interest rates at the time. Easy to withdraw and deposit money in the account. Reviewed on: 5th September 2016

Incomptent and negligent staff

This so called "Bank" acted negligently and without comptence. I got my application approved, account opened, made transfers from my linked account, they then closed it without given te notice agreed in the Terms and Conditions (60 days). I am taking Paragon Bank to Court, a situation which I did not favour but they left me with no option. Reviewed on: 26th May 2016

Decent rates

I've opened an account and while I don't have too much to invest, Paragon bank are offering a decent return. I looked for information about them and think that they can be trusted. Money is also covered by the FSCS. Reviewed on: 31st March 2016

Good find

I stumbled upon paragon bank as I had some savings I wanted to get more interest from. Simple to understand open my account and easy to manage online. Reviewed on: 30th January 2016

Good 120 day product

Good short term deposit product if you don't want to lock away your money for too long and want to actually earn a bit of interest. I also found paragon bank to be easy to contact via phone when I needed to. Reviewed on: 24th January 2016

Good online

Paragon bank have popped up fairly recently but as deposits are covered by FSCS I felt good saving with them. Online banking is simple and works when I've logged in, but savings rates not always top of the tables so worth looking around. Reviewed on: 10th January 2016

Easy to set up an account and move money

I set up a 120 day savings account and I found this a very simple process. They pay interest monthly and it is easy to access online. The interest rate is pretty good compared with other banks for mid-term savings, so I would recommend them. Reviewed on: 31st August 2015
