Easy and accessible

I’ve used payl8r for a number of purchases, it is easy to use and understand, showing it’s break down of costs and dates it will be taken. I like the wide variety of retailers you can use it with, and the high acceptance rate means you don’t need to worry about your credit score as long as you keep on top of the payments. The reminders are helpful for me if I need to move around money, and having an easily accessible account to keep up to date with your payments means it’s easier than ever to stay on top of your finances. Poor Experience

Long story short I had set up finance with Payl8r to pay for some hair extensions I wanted. A month later I decided I didn’t want them anymore, and hadn’t had them put in yet anyways. Retailer said they will issue a refund but never did. Got in touch with Payl8r and considering they had my money and were continuing to take it, they weren’t willing to help me retrieve my money back after myself and the retailer had agreed on a cancellation of the contract yet the retailer was having difficulty finding out how to do this. It was only refunded after I provided evidence of the cancellation and after I had sent multiple emails to them asking for help. Other than this, my pleas for advice and help were ignored, and they were told they can’t do anything. They have no care or consideration for their customers, unlike Klarna etc. Payl8r are one to avoid! Reviewed on: 11th May 2020
