Good Value For Money!

Love that the Perfect Pet cover doesn't limit the number of conditions you can claim for! Most other pet insurance have a set limit. Reviewed on: 18th July 2022

Awful shocking heartbreaking

PLEASE READ. OMBUDSMAN INVOLVED! We took out a good policy with this company and after being asked about pre existing conditions we were very honest and said we didn’t want to cover those, this was a slipped disc that happened prior to beginning this policy. Our beloved pet hurt her leg causing a ligament rupture and perfect pet gave every excuse under the sun to not pay. Pre existing - two vets proved them wrong. Overweight - by 0.1kg. After taking the complaint as far as I could with no luck and more excuses from perfect pet I involved the ombudsman who found in our favour…..still they refuse to pay. We had to take a loan to cover our dogs treatment and to date perfect pet owe us over 4,000 I will keep fighting until we get what is rightfully ours. Please note that the good reviews on here are only from people who haven’t claimed. Fight if you need to companies like this need to be stopped. Avoid this disgusting company

My dog had been struggling with his knees and it was affecting him as he got older. Our vet decided it was too risky to operate because of his age and his quality of life was still good despite his knees. 12 months later he started to become lame. At first the vet thought it was his knees but after we paid to have an x-ray (before deciding whether to risk the operation) the vet realised it was back and not his knees (which was good news). All that was required was pain relief and ultra sound sessions to help him get back to his usual self. This still run up a bill of £800. We put our claim in but because my dog had a higher BMI due to his age and knees the insurance company have declined the claim. Our vets wrote to Perfect Pet to explain it was nothing to do with his weight and therefore we put it a complaint in which they took 8 weeks to reply but again, rejected! I've been with this company for two years but will move away from them immediately and never use them again. In summary, avoid this company for any insurance as they will find a way not to pay you. We were looking at a bill of £3000-£5000 if it was his knees so thanks goodness it wasn't. What a disgusting company. Reviewed on: 22nd December 2021

wonderful customer service
