The Santander Easy Access ISA needs a minimum deposit of £500 to open the account. Santander offer a one year or two year fixed rate ISA. You can manage your account via telephone banking, branch or by online and mobile banking.

I never thought I would vote for Santander but they...

I never thought I would vote for Santander but they have excelled themselves with the ISA on offer. It is a one year fixed rate with an excellent interest rate, far more competitive than they have offered in the past. The only drawback is the amount of interest you lose of you need to close the account, quite a loto more than other financial services. On a positive note, I received a £200 voucher for transferring an ISA from another provider. Reviewed on: 11th June 2026

Quick and straightforward to open the account.

Quick and straightforward to set up the account. Competitive interest rate. Unfortunately, the provider for an existing ISA that I wished to transfer was not on Satander's drop-down list to select upon opeining the account, but I was able to transfer by submitting a form by post instead (no need to visit a branch!).
