Super helpful and easy to use

I have been a member for over 10 years and used a wide range of services. They have helped me through difficult times when I became a lone parent and also when I was at university studying to be a nurse. I now save regularly with them and have just borrowed against my savings for a new car, as my last one was old and on it's last legs. They were incredibly quick and helpful and I was able to secure a new car very quickly. This is vital in my job as I am a district nurse. Could not recommend them enough. Reviewed on: 9th June 2021

My only help whilst fighting the pandemic

Throughout the pandemic I was financially stressed. When banks shut I had no idea what else was available because the word Lockdown and shut were used too much. I panicked and started to minimise what to buy, prioritising kids food because I said to my self if I have to die with hunger atleast I should make sure my kids have enough to eat and not ME. In June 2020, I had 20 left mid month, I was panicking, out of work what do indp? My friend mention credit union, I laughed as I knew everything was shut due to the pandemic. She forced me to ring credit union and get a loan. I rung the number only to realise I had savings. This phone call was the bridge between starvation and death. I 'm glad CREDIT UNION were there, PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS. I CPULD NEVER THANK YPU ENOUGH Reviewed on: 9th June 2021

Affordable loans

I love credit union as I see it as a life line sometimes when I am in need. I can save money and quite often do And withdraw it as I please as well as apply for an affordable loan From credit union for bigger expenses such as towards a holiday, kids clothing and shoes or even an unexpected bill that needs paying. I would highly recommend credit union if you are needing an affordable, fair loan. It is also quick and easy to apply and you often get a quick decision and if accepted, you can have your loan within a few hours which is brill! Reviewed on: 9th June 2021

Easy, trustworthy way to save money

I have been using credit union as a safe place to save money for a couple of years now. Once an account is set up, the online services are extremely easy to use, and log in is very secure. I like that I can have a withdrawal password different to my log in password, to add that bit extra safety. Withdrawal requests are quick to make, and the time frame given for the withdrawal to make it into your account is always accurate and reliable. Telephone services are there if you need support, but opening times can be limited. With that being said, you have the option to leave a message for someone to call you back. I have done this a couple of times and always had a call back the same day. Overall I cannot fault the sheffield credit union and would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone who is looking to either save or perhaps loan some money. Thank you! Happy customer

I have found Sheffield Credit Union faultless in any of my dealings with them. Applying for a loan could not be more simple. Also due to covid I had a 3 month period when I was struggling, as my wages dropped by a third. I had amazing help through this difficult time and am very thankful to them for this.
