Poor advice

At the end of my year's term you wrote offering me the opportunity to re-invest, which I did. Realizing my bank details needed to be updated I attempted to do that but couldn't. I phoned and one of your advisors told me to cancel my transaction which would allow the bank details to be changed, then re-apply. When I did the interest rate on offer was lower and I was then informed that because I'd discontinued my previous application that rate no longer applied. Had I been informed of that by your advisor I wouldn't have proceeded as I did and would have made the bank detail change at another time so I feel disappointed that I was misled by your advisor.
