Very dated systems and attitudes

Very dated IT systems make for a clunky online experience. The staff are very inflexible if there is an issue. I think the only reason they still have customers is due to the "smugness effect" whereby people stick with Co-op for reasons other than competence. Reviewed on: 21st November 2016

Ethical Investment

Smile are a great internet bank with first class customer service but with few branches and low interest rates for savers. Their best selling point is ethical investment. Reviewed on: 14th November 2016

does what it says on the tin!

Cant fault this bank - online services are top class. it's all there at the touch of a button and if you really need to talk to someone you can go in to any co-operative bank. Have only had to contact the bank twice in about 14 years and the customer service was great - all sorted within a few minutes. you want a no-nonsense bank, with many online facilities, and a free overdraft then this is the one Reviewed on: 22nd June 2016
