Great bank for sole trader, but could do more

I created a sole trader account with Starling almost a year ago after reading many rave reviews. I also bought their bookkeeping software for only £7 a month. So far I'm happy with it. I've been able to consolidate many functions within it, such as invoicing, accounting, etc. Much more organised and saves a lot of time. I only find it a shame that you can't mark invoices as part-paid, nor is there any credit card or interest-accrued saving accounts. Apart from that, I'm having a great experience with no huge issues! Great Bank for Startups

We've been using Starling Bank now for a couple of years. Really refreshing to have such a service available. When starting a new business, seeing other more traditional banks with monthly fees as a minimum, plus other areas you would be charged is not a way to bring in new business owners as customers. Cash flow is tight. Hold off on the fees and you will gain from this type of client in the medium to longer term. Cannot fault Starling. Setting up an account is easy. Everything is through their app, customer service is friendly and responsive and I can get everything done quickly at any hour. Superb. Reviewed on: 9th March 2023
