Great that they get their own space, with a debit card for withdrawing cash and making payments online, but all visible by me, and with good controls. They get their own app, so they can check the balance at any time. The only real drawback is the lack of functionally like direct debits, for example for paying a mobile phone bill. Independence with oversight

Easy to set up, great customer service.

Child's Independence

Starling Kite in conjunction with the subsequent debit card has allowed for a level of independence for our 13 yr old son that he wouldn't have had previously. He is now able to live life like a young adult while learning the responsibilities managing money comes with. Reviewed on: 17th March 2023

Excellent, simple and feels secure

I wanted a banking space which was secure and safe for my teen daughter for her daily use. We chose Starling kite and now she has savings accounts too. Its a great app, I can monitor what she spends and with the contactless and virtual card for online transactions it feels safe and she has freedom without having to worry.
